月桃，別名玉桃花，屬薑科。

主治：心腹痛、消化不良、腎虛腰痛、胎動不安。

其效能：健胃、祛寒、消積、醒腦、安胎。

 

薑科，月桃屬，多年生草本。葉廣被針形，葉緣有細毛，葉鞘甚長，圓錐花序，漏斗狀花，唇瓣大而帶黃色，具紅點及條斑。低海拔山野，極為常見。春至秋季可採。食用部為嫩莖、花及種子。
